About Us
Adhar Vishwastha Sanstha
Founded in 2001, Adhar Vishwastha Sanstha in Solapur, Maharashtra, was inspired by a deep commitment to serve the elderly, bedridden patients, and vulnerable individuals who lack care and support. With over 23 years of experience, our journey began with the belief that every person deserves dignity, love, and proper care, regardless of their circumstances.
Our dedicated programs—Adhar Care Center, A.D. Joshi Anand Sahjeevan, and Adhar Ghar—focus on elderly rehabilitation, emotional companionship, and holistic well-being. Alongside this, we actively contribute to health and social welfare through free homeopathic clinics, health camps, blood donation drives, and environmental initiatives.
Along with this, With the cooperation of society, the Adhar Vishwasth Sanstha, which has been working for the past 23 years, has worked in the area of Health Check-up Camps, Free Homoeopathic Clinics, Pulse Polio, HIV Awareness Rally, Blood Donation Camp, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Tree Plantation, Environment awareness such as – Say No to Plastic Bag, Use Cloth Bags; Trust associated with Dainik Sakal for ‘कचऱ्यातून संपत्ती’ (solid waste management) and with the coordination of Rajendra Singh Rana (Ramon Magsaysay Winner) we worked for ‘पाणी अडवा पाणी जिरवा’ in Maharashtra.

Our Vision
The organization is focusing on three key sustainability projects: The main vision of this Sanstha is to provide services to them who can not take care of them self and always need an assistance, Second implementing sustainability efforts such as a biogas plant and sewage treatment facility. Finally creating green spaces with gardens and trees.

HISTORY BY YEAR
Adhar Vishwastha Sanstha A Journey Through Time
- Registered Charity Commissioner's Office in January.
- Mushroom cultivation course empowered 250+ individuals.
- Sakhi Institute has offered health assistant courses for 10th pass/fail students.
Established the Adhar Care Center in November, a nursing care center for bedridden patients.
Selected for the Jalswarajya Project by the Maharashtra Government, in collaboration with Gramin Vikas Sanstha, focusing on rural development, water management, sanitation, and women's health.
Organized Healthy Senior Citizen Contest for three years, offering free health checkups and recognizing the healthiest senior to promote proactive health management.
- Engaged in community initiatives like water conservation, HIV awareness, health camps, and environmental advocacy.
- In March 2013, we moved Adhar Care Center to Bhogaon, increasing capacity to support 50 individuals in need of "ADHAR" (support and care).
Inaugurated the Shri Badrinarayan Malu Rehab Center to provide specialized rehabilitation and support for up to 50 paralysis patients.
- Established "ADHAR GHAR" to provide shelter and support for 30 vulnerable individuals, demonstrating our social welfare commitment.
- Launched "A.D. Joshi Anand Sahjeevan" old age home for 25 senior citizens, ensuring a nurturing environment for their well-being.
- Starting a 15,000 sq.ft garden with a 500m walking track to enhance patient well-being.
- Installed a 20kW rooftop solar system to promote sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint.
- Started Amrutvel Care Center in Pirangut, Pune. Its a branch of Adhar Vishwastha Sanstha.
FUTURE PLANS
Upcoming Initiatives and Goals
Adhar Vishwastha Sanstha plans to open a Naturopathy Center, expand the old age home, and implement eco-friendly projects like a sewage treatment plant and bio-gas plant.
